ARE YOU A NONPROFIT THAT NEEDS HELP TELLING YOUR STORY?
IS YOUR MARKETING BUDGET SMALL OR NEXT TO NOTHING?
If you answered “yes” to these questions, please apply to CreateAthon at Collegiate School, and you may be selected to receive strategic and creative work for free. Collegiate student teams mentored by faculty and local professionals will create a wide variety of projects at no cost to the nonprofit organizations.
Deadline for applications is Friday, September 15th.
What kind of nonprofits can apply for CreateAthon? Any 501(c)3 organization that needs help telling its story is eligible to apply and be considered as a CreateAthon client. Organizations are selected in September by a review committee that focuses on how well the project will fit with the students’ skills, the limited resources available for marketing within the organization, and the impact on the local community (the Greater Richmond area.)
What is CreateAthon at Collegiate School? CreateAthon onCampus is a program designed to give students a chance to learn and give back to the community at the same time. During the fall semester high school students at Collegiate will be devoted to studying the communication needs of your nonprofit. They will put this knowledge to work during the semester and at CreateAthon onCampus, a 4-hour creative blitz, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Collegiate students will work with local advertising, design, and marketing professionals who will mentor their work, ensuring high-quality and effective materials. The strategic and creative work will be delivered to the clients in December.
CreateAthon at Collegiate is part of a national program, and to get more information on that program, visit http://createathon.org/
We look forward to collaborating on important work with you!
