YOU can change a child’s story. Learn more about volunteering to be a voice for vulnerable children experiencing abuse or neglect.

This virtual information session is the first step in learning more about volunteering as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) on behalf of a vulnerable child. Prospective volunteers must apply by April 10, 2023 to be considered for the spring 2023 training session. The application process includes an interview, being fingerprinted, and the completion of a criminal background check and reference checks.

New volunteers participate in forty hours of free training before being sworn in at the Henrico Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
