April 18 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm| Free
If you can read this, you can help someone who can’t. More than 65,000 adults in the Richmond metro area cannot read well enough to function in today’s society. The READ Center helps adults with low literacy skill develop reading and communication skills through classroom and one-to-one tutoring.
Becoming an adult literacy tutor changes lives – the tutor’s and the students’. It is a rewarding experience that can help adults improve their lives and the lives of their families. Want to get started? Come to our new tutor training!
As a volunteer tutor, you’ll receive ongoing support and training opportunities. To learn more (and to sign up), visit our website below.
