Candidates Forum on Evictions

October 10, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Campaign to Reduce Evictions–in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Richmond Metropolitan Area and the Richmond Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority–is hosting a forum on evictions featuring candidates for the Virginia House and Senate. This event will be held at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture in the Robins Family Forum, from 6:00 until 8:30 on the evening of October 10th. All members of the public are welcome to attend.

Our purpose in holding this forum is to allow Virginia House and Senate candidates to share their positions on how to reduce eviction rates across the Commonwealth and how to mitigate the effect of evictions on children and families. Each candidate will be asked questions by our moderator, Whittney Evans of Virginia Public Media.
