EV Experience Fundraiser
February 26 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Grab a yummy sandwich, soup and/or salad at Panera Bread near Chesterfield Towne Center on Feb. 26 and Drive Electric RVA will receive 20 percent of the sales that evening. Just show the cashier this flyer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a2ospbggwvrey2z/flyer.pdf.
The money will go towards developing our EV Experience educational center, which will serve as a place for people to learn about EVs and renewable energy without any sales pressure.
In 2018, we completed and tested a full-scale prototype of one of the exhibits using $1,200 in funding from Virginia Clean Cities, the Falls of the James chapter of the Sierra Club and individual donors. In 2019, we want to complete a prototype of a second exhibit as well as a video screening area and an interactive activity station and test them in pop-up locations throughout Richmond.
In order to do that, we need to raise $2,100 by spring 2019. We hope you will consider helping us reach that goal.
