FREE: Ageism in the COVID-19 Era

August 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

| Free

3rd Wednesdays FREE Community Series:
The nickname “Boomer Remover” for the COVID-19 pandemic highlights age discrimination in meme form. Join us to explore how to foster a culture of inclusion that inhibits an “us versus them” mentality. Presenter: Tracey Gendron, MS, Ph.D., VCU, Chair and Associate Professor of Gerontology
All sessions in this annual series from June through October 2020 will be held via the Zoom platform. You will be provided with a link where you can connect through your PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android Device.
Sessions are a great way for you to “sample” a course with the VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education, or to learn something new! We hope you will join us for one or more sessions. Register through the ticket link, and view a full schedule at https://ocpe.vcu.edu/community
Presented with support from: Regency
