Let’s Talk Tofurky: Stewardship for Every Appetite – In-person Event

November 2 @ 11:30 am - 1:15 pm

| $20 – $30

For the safety of all of our members and guests, VAFRE strongly encourages all individuals attending our programs in-person to be vaccinated. Virtual registration is available for those who are not vaccinated or who do not feel comfortable meeting in person.
Masks will be required for all participants and we will be practicing social distancing. In-person registration will be limited to 40 individuals. Box lunches will be available for in-person registrants at the end of the program to eat on-site or take with you.

Our Program: Stewardship is a critical activity for any solid fund development plan. Carol Anne Lajoie and Stuart C. Siegel will take a look at customizing stewardship to fit every organization, regardless of the size of your development shop. Carol Anne leads a team at the Richmond SPCA responsible for over $4M per year in philanthropic revenue. Whether yours is a team of one or twenty-one, what practical steps can you take to create the stewardship program right for you and your donors? Stuart is a Richmond SPCA board member and local philanthropist. Join us to find out what stewardship activities have meant the most to him. How has COVID impacted donor retention and development strategies around stewardship? Why Tofurky? Join us in November to answer all of these questions and more

Approved for 1 hour of CFRE credit.

Our Presenters: Carol Anne Lajoie serves as director of development for the Richmond SPCA, overseeing fundraising activities for Central Virginia’s largest progressive animal welfare organization.
