The Slack Family Bluegrass Band
Who doesn’t love some quality bluegrass music? Having played for over 20 years around the Richmond, VA area, this family of “brothers from different mothers” will be bringing their energetic, diverse, and infectious style of bluegrass music to our stage in July, featuring three part vocal harmonies, a mix of traditional, contemporary, original tunes and a wide variety of indigenous influences that give more than a nod to the way “it used to was”. Their blend of traditional, contemporary, original tunes is popular with all ages, and has earned them their renders music their fans affectionately dub “slackgrass”.
