Psychotrophic Medications in Children with ASD – Workshop

Region IV REACH, in partnership with VCU Health System and Autism Society Central Virginia, is proud to offer a training on Use of Psychotropic Medications in Children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. The training will be conducted by Cheryl S. Al-Mateen, M.D. and will cover information including commonly used psychotropic medications, paradoxical reactions, side effects, questions to ask during appointments or information you may be asked during a psychiatric evaluation.
This training is perfect for parents, family members, support coordinators, therapists, teachers and anyone who is interested in learning more on the subject.
