Workplace Inclusion Network 2021: Session #5 “Becoming An Anti-Racist Organization”

December 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

| Various membership levels

“Anti-racism” has become a buzzword for many individuals and institutions interested in shifting the paradigms of their organizations. However, anti-racism is not a quick fix, but is instead a long-term commitment and practice. In this workshop, participants will learn about key tenets and characteristics of anti-racism as they consider ways to embed anti-racist practices into their spheres of influence.

Through the Workplace Inclusion Network (WIN), the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities convenes professionals who support or lead diversity and inclusion efforts within their organizations. These gatherings provide a unique opportunity for D&I leaders to hear from experts in the field and share best practices with one another while networking with professionals from across the region. Participants/Organizations must be registered for all 5 sessions.
