September 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm| Various membership levels
Session #4: As demographics in the workplace become more diverse, more organizations are considering how an upstander culture can help employees from different backgrounds work effectively together. In this workshop, participants will explore the concept and best practices of an upstander culture to eliminate bias and prejudice in the workplace. Attendees will leave with increased knowledge about the skills and an action plan to speak up and speak out.
Through the Workplace Inclusion Network (WIN), the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities convenes professionals who support or lead diversity and inclusion efforts within their organizations. These gatherings provide a unique opportunity for D&I leaders to hear from experts in the field and share best practices with one another while networking with professionals from across the region. Participants/Organizations must be registered for all 5 sessions.
