This is a six session portrait drawing class covering the skull, facial muscles, structure of the face and light and shadow, with an introduction to Impressionist Portraiture. The class will be virtual to start, with an in-person option when CDC and State Guidelines for safe gatherings permit it. Instructors will be Mark Hierholzer and Richelle Kaufman. Richelle has a background in forensic reconstruction and will provide a unique approach to understanding the structure of the skull and face. There will be plenty of drawing! Class will take place on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to Noon beginning January 27th. Cost for the zoom class is $180. In-person attendance will include all materials at an additional fee.
