The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia (TCF) have many upcoming opportunities for funding – from nonprofit grants to professional development, to scholarships and more!  Make sure you mark down these upcoming dates and deadlines!

19th – Youth Philanthropy Grant Proposals Due

Led by a committee of local high school students, the Youth Philanthropy Project gives consideration to youth-driven service projects that are designed to help support safe neighborhoods, strong families or academic success. Apply now.

REB teaching find funding

22nd – Nominations Due for the REB Awards for Teaching Excellence

The R.E.B. awards are designed to recognize and reward teaching excellence in the metropolitan Richmond public school systems. Grants ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 each will be awarded to approximately 15 teachers to support professional development activities. TCF invites nominations from students, parents, colleagues, school personnel and administration, and the community at-large. Nominate a teacher.

22nd – Impact 100 Grant Proposals Due

The mission of Impact 100 Richmond is to advance transformative giving in the Richmond region by uniting women’s ideas and actions through philanthropy. The goal is to make it possible for an exciting, visionary concept to become an enduring initiative that transforms the lives of women and children. Submit your transformative idea for consideration.

March

3rd – Scholarship Application Deadline

The Community Foundation offers approximately 60 different scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors and adult learners. Determine your eligibility now.

5th – Ujima Legacy Fund Grant Proposals Due

Ujima Legacy Fund supports projects that will have a positive impact on youth and young adults (ages 12 to 21 years) in our region, with a particular emphasis on under-served youth populations. It is anticipated that  two grants in the range of $20,000 – $40,000 will be awarded in 2016. Apply today.

10th – Nominations Due for Stettinius Awards for Nonprofit Professionals

The Stettinius Fund for Nonprofit Leadership will award cash grants of up to $10,000 to nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the potential for strong transformational leadership. Nominate a nonprofit leader.
