Enrollment + Match Support Specialist The Enrollment & Match Support Specialist is responsible for youth & volunteer recruitment, enrollment & matching, and ongoing case management. All goals and responsibilities of this position are consistent with Board of Directors policies and long-range objectives for the Greater Richmond service area. The duties connected with this position include, but are not limited to: • Volunteer Recruitment/Enrollment • Youth Recruitment/Enrollment • Ongoing case management • Community Partnerships – school systems, other nonprofits, corporations, local first responders, faith-based community Responsibilities: • Recruit and enroll volunteers and youth to participate in two core programs: Community-Based and Site-Based Mentoring • Provide ongoing case management in accordance with Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Policies & Procedures • Meet grant requirements in terms of number of youth served and quality of service • Participate in various awareness and recruitment events as needed • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Programs and Executive Director Education, Programming, Social Work, Volunteer Coordination Apr 18, 2019
Special Events + Marketing Manager The Special Events + Marketing Manager is responsible for soliciting and securing sponsors; planning and executing special events for both fundraising and programmatic needs; engaging attendees; converting event attendees to long-term donors; coordinating third-party fundraisers; and marketing – consistent with Board of Directors policies and long-range objectives. The duties connected with this position include, but are not limited to: • Solicit and secure event sponsors • Recruit and engage attendees in events – selling tickets/teams, promoting on-site funding opportunities • Plan and implement annual fundraisers throughout service area – Greater Richmond, Tri-Cities, Greater Virginia Peninsula, & Hampton Roads • Manage outside vendors for events • Manage fundraising committees • Cultivate positive relationships with corporate sponsors, individual donors, event attendees, Bigs, and potential Bigs – including ongoing recognition outside the scope of events • Maintain website and other media placements • Assist with various awareness and recruitment events as needed • Participate in agency goal setting, budgeting, and planning • Perform other duties as assigned Annual Fundraisers: • Bowl for Kids’ Sake (peer-to-peer fundraiser in multiple locations) – March/April • An Evening for Kids’ Sake (auction and band party) – October • Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars (competition like the television program – assistance to external group) – March Third-Party Fundraisers: • Restaurant/retail give back nights • Facebook fundraisers • Coordination with corporate partners Major Program Events: • 30 Bigs in 30 Days (national mentoring month coordination with program team) – January • Big of the Year – June/July Marketing: • Maintain website (weebly platform) • Limited design updates (Adobe InDesign, Constant Contact, etc.) • Coordinate with graphic designer and outside vendors to fulfill branded needs • Seek, plan, and execute media placements Fund Development Mar 25, 2019
