The Urban Baby Beginnings (UBB) program improves birth outcomes through prenatal support and education. Our mission is to work with communities to ensure access to high-quality maternal health services while intensifying efforts towards the improvement and prevention of adverse maternal and child health outcomes by addressing community risk factors Social Support Programs : 1) Community Cares Collaborative care model that provides social support programming to uninsured pregnant families and their infants up to 60 days postpartum 2) ReByrth Provides social support programming by women of color to WIC and Medicaid eligible expectant women of color through a telehealth platform and ground forces. Educational Support Programs: 1) Resource Mothers Provides home visiting and social support to expectant teens ages 14-19 and their children up to the age of 1. 2) Family Spirit Provides home visiting and social support to adults ages 20+ and their children up to the age of 2. 3) Workforce Development Provides training to professionals and paraprofessionals seeking community doula certification and continuing education. Functional Support Programs: 1)Diaper Bank Provides baby essentials and diapers to UBB enrolled members and operates as a crisis response to support community partners that distribute baby supplies and diapers to families in need.
