Trauma Learning Center
The Trauma Learning Center (TLC) is a residential treatment program serving children with moderate to severe emotional disorders. TLC incorporates cutting-edge, evidence-based practices to treat Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). We are the only program in the Mid-Atlantic serving children with BPD and is one of only a handful in the nation.
Adolescent Addiction Recovery Program
Licensed and credentialed addiction professionals help facilitate healing and recovery from substance abuse in individuals between the ages of 11 and 21. Certified Substance Abuse Counselors administer the Practical Adolescent Dual Comprehensive Assessment which is designed to uncover psychiatric and substance use disorders. In-house drug testing is performed at admission as well as on a random basis in order to ensure prompt detection of select substances. Our board-certified psychiatrist is trained to assess and evaluate withdrawal symptoms from various substances and prescribes modest medications to assist with withdrawal symptoms. Both psychiatric and nursing services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assess and evaluate the residents needs.
