Philanthropy Coordinator Overview The Philanthropy Coordinator supports the Philanthropy team by maintaining meticulous donor records, processing all gifts, coordinating special events, and implements the strategy for all elements of volunteering at Peter Paul across all programs. The role involves assessing Peter Paul’s volunteer needs and overseeing recruitment, orientation, and retention of volunteers and providing administrative support for the philanthropy team’s fundraising activities. Primary Responsibilities • Manage the donor database to maintain donor records and seeking opportunities to create new reports that are useful to management • Ensure the proper acknowledgement and management of gifts and pledges and providing status and progress reports • Work with Peter Paul program directors to identify volunteer opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the organization • Manage partnerships with key organizations, including corporate, civic, educational and faith-based groups, including representing Peter Paul at events regarding volunteer engagement • Recruit, interview, orient, train and place volunteers for specific positions at all Peter Paul programs • Maintain and update volunteer orientation, trainings and development opportunities • Oversee volunteer database, tracking individual volunteer activities and impact • Track and recognize all in-kind donations • Share volunteer/in-kind donor lists within philanthropy team as needed • Recognize and celebrate volunteers on a regular basis • Maintain and update volunteer policies and procedures • Serve as advisor to Peter Paul’s young professionals group, Board of Associates. • Work in collaboration with philanthropy team to identify donor prospects; make connections as appropriate and help steward relationships Fund Development Nov 14, 2022
Human Resources Manager Overview The Human Resources Manager administers and implements human resource activities, providing a spectrum of services from operational to strategic. The Human Resources Manager ensures compliance with all organization-wide policies and procedures and leads local labor law compliance efforts. The Human Resources Manager reports to the Director of Administration of Peter Paul. Responsibilities • Provides strategic direction and management of full talent management lifecycle, from recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation planning, retention and offboarding • In conjunction with hiring managers, responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruitment processes including job description development, job postings, review of resumes, interviewing, reference checks, background checks, and job offers • Manages employee payroll and employee benefits, including annual evaluation of cost and effectiveness of benefit plans • Develops, implements and monitors comprehensive human resources policies, procedures and internal controls • Serves as a reliable source of HR policies, practices, and processes in response to employee and/or leadership requests, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and applicable labor laws • Manages continuing compliance with local, state and federal personnel related filing requirements pertaining to payroll and human resources, including 941s, 5500 audit, W-2s and 1099s, and unemployment • Leads intake, make recommendations, and facilitate resolution of employee matters and workplace investigations • Develops and leads initiatives related to employee engagement and wellness, culture, learning and professional development • Manages and maintains personnel records and prepares paperwork with supporting documentation for new hires, changes, VDOE requirements, separations, etc. • Provides requested human resources analyses required for grant proposals and reports • Oversees leave and attendance records for all staff; ensuring management and employees have accurate PTO data to make appropriate decisions • Other duties as assigned Management, Other Nov 4, 2022
