|Director of Youth Fellowship||Position: Part‐time, 10 hrs./week average, 12‐month employee. Job Summary: Lead in the Christian formation of youth (grades 6‐12) and their families, fostering an atmosphere where youth are welcomed, accepted and safe, and encouraged to explore, question, and develop their relationships with God. Primary leader of youth activities. Responsibilities: • Build relationships with and among youth, parents, church members, and staff, giving special attention to inactive RRPC youth. • Attend RRPC on Sunday mornings, building relationships with youth, connecting with church members (potential volunteers), supporting Sunday school teachers, and, upon request, teaching classes. • Organize and lead youth fellowship meetings and events. • With the Christian Education Ministry (CEM), direct and coordinate any youth weekday evening activities, fellowship programs, and Youth Sunday. • Attend monthly CEM meetings and as requested, general staff meetings. • With CEM, recruit and train volunteers, assist in creation of an annual budget. • Maintain RRPC Youth Ministry materials (including current information, rolls, Youth Directory, Calendar, volunteer job descriptions, compliance documents, budgets, and other notes for major youth ministry events.) • Maintain a youth program calendar and communicate activities effectively with the CEM, congregation, volunteers, parents, and youth. • Coordinate with other ministries and staff when planning youth activities and events. • Attend and foster participation in youth mission opportunities and events. • Encourage and assist in coordinating youth participation in POJ activities. • Provide content for church website, social media, and other communications. • Develop a vision for RRPC Youth Ministry that integrates with that of RRPC. • Report to Head of Staff and serve as youth staff liaison to the CEM.||Other||Aug 5, 2022|
