The Home is self sustaining and does not receive daily operational funding from the Diocese. The establishment of Saint Francis Home reflects the commitment of the Catholic Church to ministries designed to serve the community, and promote quality care for the whole-person, including physical, psychological, spiritual, and social well-being. The services and programs of Saint Francis Home are designed to fulfill this commitment, and are augmented and enriched by the use of community resources and a reliable, resourceful and dynamic volunteer base.The mission of Saint Francis Home is rooted in the Catholic ethical tradition. The purpose of Saint Francis Home is to provide a home for adults who are elderly or disabled; without discrimination as to race, color, creed or sex; and to offer programs and services to residents which will enhance the human dignity, personal worth, independence and growth of the individual. Saint Francis Home encourages the active participation of residents in planning for their care and daily living, while providing necessary support, assistance and specific activities to foster growth and harmony.
