In 1999, The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen Foundation and Henrico County forged a public-private partnership to establish a regional non-profit arts center. The Cultural Arts Center was created through the thoughtful renovation of the historic Glen Allen School, producing a high quality venue for both the performing and visual arts. As one of the most comprehensive community arts facilities in Greater Richmond, The Center boasts a 350-seat theater, large dance studios, visual arts studios, music studios, and four art galleries and serves over 100,000 patrons, students, and visitors each year through signature programs. As a non-profit organization, The Cultural Arts Center strives to be a vital resource for creativity and education in the visual and performing arts. Our mission is to inspire and enrich our community by offering exceptional performances, classes, and visual art exhibits.
