Mission Statement | The Virginia Council on Economic Education, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1970, provides quality teacher training, standards-aligned curriculum, and classroom-ready resources to connect students to the global economy and make learning fun. Working hand-in-hand with the Virginia Department of Education, the Virginia Council is the preferred provider of K-12 teacher professional development for economics and personal finance. By teaching the teacher, you reach more students -- helping them understand not only money, but also how the world works. |
