The Virginia Institute of Autism is dedicated to helping people overcome the challenges of autism through innovative, evidence-based programs in education, outreach and adult services. Through the James C Hormel School. Outpatient Behavioral Services, and the Adult Academy, VIA is pioneering the education and support of people with autism across the spectrum and across their lifespan. Our programs use the proven principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster the development of language, interpersonal skills, educational progress, and social engagement—with life changing results.
