Baptist General Association of Virginia

The Baptist General Association of Virginia is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for Uptick, for approximately 15 hours per week.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Provide administrative support for Uptick, including:
o make reservations for Uptick retreats and meetings
o maintain Uptick database
o communicate to Uptick leaders and Uptick groups
o handle Uptick Board meeting details (reservations, meeting needs, and communication), attend Board
meetings to handle details and take/prepare meeting minutes
o transmit monthly staff attendance reports to Business Office Support Team
• Provide administrative support for financial duties, including:
o entering financial transactions such as receipts, vouchers, donations, etc.
o reconcile monthly credit card transactions
o communicate donations to Uptick Leader
o maintain and file appropriate financial documents with the business office and communicate as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Excellent communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Attention to detail. Ability to build relationships with donors and internal departments. College education and 2-4 years’ experience in this or related field desirable
