Seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and creative Christian to drive our Children and Family Ministry program to the next level. Individual must have relevant experience in: teaching and/or working with children; engaging parents and families; and working with others as a team at a professional level.

The Children and Family Ministry Director is a part-time position (20 hours/week) and is responsible for developing, leading and growing an engaging family ministry that fits the needs of families today. This includes Christian discipleship, mission opportunities for children and their families and relationship building activities for families at New Life. The Director will partner and collaborate with church staff and ministry teams, provide enthusiastic leadership and recruit, train and support volunteers.

New Life Church is a vibrant community of believers, founded in 1997, to help bring families closer to a life with Christ. Our passion is to reach the growing residential communities of Chesterfield and Powhatan Counties and beyond and to engage those far from God by putting faith into practice through mission and ministry.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, minimum. Experience working with children, engaging parents and families; experience recruiting, organizing and leading a team of volunteers; effective communicator; organized and disciplined in work setting. Available to work on Sunday mornings.
20 hours per week; $20,000 salary; inspiring and exciting Christian work environment; opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young families.
