Early Impact Virginia

Early Impact Virginia, the alliance for family support and education in the home, seeks a highly-organized professional with strong skills in project management, written and verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and external partners to lead projects designed to advance the delivery of high quality, efficient early childhood home visiting services. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong understanding of early childhood home visiting services, a passion for supporting vulnerable families, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Major Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage relationships with EIV member and partner organizations
• Coordinate and facilitate EIV collaborative workgroups
• Participate in Early Impact Virginia membership meetings and represent EIV on relevant early childhood workgroups, as assigned
• Assist with statewide annual training event coordination
• Support the overall training experience for statewide EIV professional development activities, including working together with lead implementing partner, James Madison University, to ensure user friendly registration, training participation and evaluation.
• Manage routine EIV communication
• Support EIV projects designed to advance organizational mission and goals, including public education, advocacy, and fund development, as assigned
• Provide weekly feedback to the EIV Director on completing grant deliverables
• Complete monthly progress reports
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Human Services preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required Experience with early childhood home visiting programs, program management, professional development, and evaluation experience preferred Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, etc.) Excellent organizational, oral and writing skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail Must have valid Virginia driver’s license, vehicle for travel and vehicle insurance Ability to travel in Virginia and to national meetings in other states

This grant funded position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefit package and flexible work schedule with the opportunity for part or full time employment (minimum of 30 hours/week).
