About RampsRVA: RampsRVA builds wheelchair ramps to empower older adults living in poverty and individuals living with disabilities in Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield. We partner with local high school and corporate volunteers to build these ramps at no cost to our clients.

Reports to: Executive Director

Job Responsibilities:
Manage client intake, assessments, and scheduling builds, removals, and maintenance; maintain client files
Prepare clear documentation to include client information, confirmation of client income and assets and field assessments at a client’s home
Inventory and ordering of ramp materials as authorized; load and unload truck for builds with assistance
Support the Executive Director on planning and execution of team builds with students, corporate partners, and individuals
Provide office and administrative staff support
Other projects as requested by the Executive Director or Board Chair

Required Qualifications:
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team Strong customer service mindset Must have a valid Virginia’s driver’s license, proof of insurance and a willingness to drive throughout the Greater Richmond region Detail oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays throughout the year (we offer flexibility to accommodate these obligations) Ability to communicate and work with diverse groups in a courteous and professional manner Must be able to lift 60 pounds Able to manage multiple priorities Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to and passion for RampsRVA’s mission Proficiency in Spanish a plus
$20,000 (20-25 hours a week, occasional weekend hours)
