Rebuilding Together Richmond

Rebuilding Together of Richmond (RTR) is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Program Manager to lead RTR’s program efforts to provide free home repairs for low-income homeowners. The Program Manager will be responsible for the operational success of RTR, ensuring seamless program administration and volunteer management, community relations and client-intake processing. The Program Manager works under the supervision of the Executive Director to manage the day-to-day operations of all RTR programs.

Primary Responsibilities
Program Management
• Oversees and implements RTR programs and policies (National Rebuilding Day, Fall Fix-Up Day and year-round build projects)
• Oversees program budgets, reporting and grant compliance
• Conducts client site visitations to execute client intake and selection
• Assists with creation of construction work scopes and oversees estimates, invoices and repairs
• Provides community outreach through solicitation of applications and assisting with presentations
• Provides administrative support to organization
• Supervises and mentors intern/AmeriCorps Program Coordinator*

Volunteer Management
• Serves as point of contact for all volunteer house captains
• Ensures a positive volunteer experience during build projects
• Assists in planning, organizing and leading volunteer projects

Required Qualifications:
Recommended Skills (The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment is critical!) • 3-4 years of experience with construction, volunteer management and nonprofit program management is highly desirable. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with a diverse group staff, clients and stakeholders. • Strong organizational and project management skills, significant attention to detail and follow-through, ability to work on multiple tasks in a growing and changing environment. • Strong problem solver with attention to developing and improving systems to improve RTR programs. • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; Knowledge of Salesforce a plus. • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but those without a degree but having relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply
