The Project Discovery Program Assistant Manager will preform work under the supervision of the Project Discovery Program Manager. The Assistant Manager will assist with the following activities: plan, lead, and facilitate student workshops; maintain relationships with current partnering schools’ administration and staff; recruit students into the program; assist students to transition into post-secondary education, military, and/or workforce positions; complete and manage student files and related administrative duties; develop and maintain professional relationships with area-wide high schools; expand the Project Discovery Program in area high schools; engage enrolled students in meaningful educational activities essential for successful advancement.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree with coursework in education, human services or related fields is essential. Moderate experience in providing academic and social support in educational programming. Some grant writing and program management experience is desirable. A valid driver's licence in the Commonwealth of Virginia is essential.
