Vice President for Marketing & Communications

Virginia Historical Society

The Virginia Historical Society seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Vice President for Marketing & Communications. This individual serves as a part of the VHS Executive Team, reports directly to the President & CEO, and is responsible for all aspects of VHS promotion, public relations, brand strategy, market research and analysis, print and digital engagement, and related design and production. The vice president is the regular liaison between the Marketing & Communications Division (approx. 5 people) and the VHS Board of Trustees, especially its Marketing Committee, and is the administrator of Division operations, which includes budgeting, managing personnel, and reporting.
