What is TedxRVA?
In the spirit of TEDTalks, TEDx is a local, self-organized event that brings people together to share a TED-like experience where TED Talk videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
In 2015, TedxRVA is inspired by the idea that Richmond is not your average city and that we embrace its eccentricities. Thus, the theme ?Uncommon? that: disrupts the common, unravels old conversations, remembers the forgotten, overlooked and excluded. Uncommon allows us to have different conversations about different moments in life in different ways. The speakers this year will explore the rare, the extraordinary?..the uncommon.
