“As clich as it might sound, I do my best to just be me and represent myself like I would in person — people are drawn to authenticity, especially on social media.”
What does engaging a multi-generational audience through social media mean to you?
A good storyteller knows how to make an emotional connection to their audience. Social media enables storytellers to engage a wider and more diverse audience. The challenge is how to make this same emotional connection both across the “digital divide” and to a much more distracted and nuanced audience. One key is to develop a content strategy that is as equally diverse, in terms of subject matter and by mixing it up with visual, audio, and text-based posts.
